Welcome to the forum

Is 25c the temp of your beer or the ambient? Fermentation will slow down after the first couple of days.

thanks for the reply 25c is the temp of the beer, to warm in the spare room i fear.

That's a bit warm, it needs to be 18-20 really, especially in the first few days. Do you have a concrete floor to put it on, a bucket of cool water to put it in or put some wet towels over it?

good idea could put it on the tiled kitchen floor should bring the temp down a bit.
