hey all.. i'm a bloke from sunderland in the north east, mid-to-late *cough*ies, looking for like minded people for chat, friendship and drunken discussions about hangover cures.

i've made 2 batches of homebrew so far and have 1 on the go.. 1st batch was vile, 2nd batch was ok, current batch, well we'll see!

so i will be hounding this forum for help and advice.. and hopefully once i've learned a bit myself i'll be able to contribute something to it. but i'll mainly just be hounding you all

welcome to the forum pal,

im a new brewer myself and the guys on here have been loads of help.

take it easy,

storm.

Ah well, if we teach you to brew it right, you shouldn't get hangovers.

Hound away, and welcome to the forum

I like the user name :thumb:

Welcome Fally.

For a minute there I thought your intro was a bot setting up for a dating site link. ;) I'm sure you'll find loads of good info here, I know I do.

Thanks all :D

artyb - so far i've done a rose wine from a kit (foul stuff that went down the sink, not sure what i did wrong tho). my 2nd attempt was a pear and strawberry cider which worked out quite nice, altho the pear part of it was a kit! right now i have 5 gallons each of apple and summer fruit wine, pear and summer fruit cider, and a pear cider so i'm keeping my fingers crossed  when i get a new hobby i don't do things by halves
