Started brewing for the first time 16th May.

Started off with a Coopers Candian Blonde which turned out great.
I was impatient obviously as a newbie and tried first bottle after just4 days in the bottle.
The beer wasnt great from a carbonation point of view but tasted great.
after 9 days YUMM!
14 days double YUMM!
the beer definitely gets better with age.

Current Brew status:

10 pints of Canadian Blonde left (trying to see how it ages week by week)
Coopers Australian Pale Ale was Brewed 5th June bottled 13th June and is currently conditioning...I am going to avoid it until at least next friday before 1st taste. I even mini Kegged 5L of the stuff.
In the Fermenter is Coopers Lager Brew date 14th June.
Sat ready for my 4th Brew is a St Peters Ruby red Ale cant wait for that mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Cheers for all sharing this place is a great wealth of knowledge.

You could say I got the bug!!

I find it more interesting in trying to brew different kits at present, I think I will next experiment with maybe Hop Tea additions then if i get hooked big time who knows AG in future

I love drinking it but I must admit brewing it is just as good!
All the things people say are true we treat our brew like a newborn baby hahahaha!

I constantly check Fermenter lol, and I peek in at my bottles conditioning.

I am just glad I have had a successful first brew otherwise i reckon it could have killed it for me.
I bought the Coopers Microbrew kit as it gave me all the gear to get going.

My enjoyment has already rubbed off and guy in my office has started a brew too hahahaha.

evening newbie,

welcome to the homebrew world.

i have been brewing since last september with the coopers kits and have found them easy to make and lovely to drink.

have been thinking about the pale ale for a while but havent got round to it, let me know how it goes.

enjoy

I will definitely post back and maybe put up the odd picture of the brew to see what you think.

It looks promising in the bottle, when bottling it was really clear and i have carefully looked at it and it looks real good. All i have to do now is be patient and not drink it all before it gets some age.

That is the biggest challenge.

Cheers for the welcome

it will only get worse(better) as you go on...

I am only doing kits and wine but you can't go wrong.. cheap booze and all much tastier than shop bought evil.. happy days all round I say!!
