New user introduction

Just joined the forum today and hoping to pick up some helpful advice in this venture into home brewing. I have made two not that successful attempts at brewing from kits. Wished I had joined earlier and read calumscott advice on homebrew. I've made so many schoolboy errors. I live in Ballymena Northern Ireland so I am limited to one store in Belfast and the Internet for supplies. Since the original brews I have or am in the process of getting hold of a fridge and STC 1000 to control fermentation temp. I have kept 500ml bottles for used beers and have a plastic keg. Any tips or advice is really more than welcome. I eventually want to move away from the kits but want to get experience using these before I go down the route of grain. Looking forward it.
