hey folks, I'm a complete novice when it comes to brewing so have spent several months trying to absorb as much info on the subject as well as getting a few simple bits of kit! hoping to make a nice ginger beer for my first brew using a recipe on this site that calls for champagne yeast, I have Muntons premium gold yeast, is this an acceptable substitute? any tips/info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome!

That Muntons yeast will probably do a job for you. It'll likely throw in a few "ale" flavours to your ginger beer where the champagne yeast is very "clean".

No bad thing if you ask me... :thumb:
