ps can you get the quick release conectors on line ...thanks in advance for any help

Do you have anything to ferment your beer in? A cornelius keg is not the the best place to do the primary fermentation of the kit.

I would read the following "How To" guides from Tubby_Shaw:

How to make a premium beer kit, from start to finish

How to make the most of your beer kit

Once you have fermented the beer you will transfer to the cornelius keg. You are getting gas but you will also need a gar regulator and also a tap. You will be able to get these from eBay from a bloke called "Normanumpa". He tends to keep all the required equipment in stock.

I would also read Vossy's "How To": Corny Kegs Made Easy: A guide round the keg

Another good one is Tubby's : How to clean and sanitise a Cornelius keg

There is a lot of reading there but it will be worth it to get a good grounding on what you are trying to achieve. :thumb:

hi
thanks for the info..think i have things going ok ..first brew is on and im just getting my way around the "corny"....but would like to ask is it ok to use small bore copper pipe for my set up or is it better to work with the clear pipe that you get along with your kit from tesco ect.ect.the reason i was asking about copper is i have some "gas pipe" left over from my caravan project and some on/off valves ect.ect..
thanks in advance
