Hi Folks
Just a quick hello and insight into my present brewing position and experience, as per new member etiquette.
My experience is limited of brewing but i have been entertaining myself lately with home made alcoholic gingerbeer (prompted by hugh fearnley whittingstall), ginger and lemonbalm 'beer', ginger and raspberry 'beer' and plumb and ginger beer.
Today i decided to dust off the old (unused) glass demijohns and vitis Glen Brew in Glasgow to purchase some malt, a airlock and hydrometer (which i have no idea how to use) and start a ginger ale.
I have no idea how this will go as nearly killed the yeast from the off, but i'll start a new thread in an appropriate place, therefore, any advice, comments or criticisms will be welcome.
Hope to hear from some new and old brewers soon.
