New 'Kid' in Town

Absolutely new to AG brewing so I'm probably going to read a lot and ask a lot of Q's (including some silly ones, no doubt).

As my handle suggests I'm from the financially broke Green Isle on the western edge of Europe and have plenty of time on my hands these days to return to my old hobby from the 1980's - making and drinking lots of beer and wines for all the house parties we had in that recession .

It was all easy kits then but now I want to learn how to do it properly - and I don't drink wine anymore.

My name is Aidan, I'm glad to be here and look forward to being an active contributor - the wife says I never shut up!
