Well my second wherry kit is now drinkable and what a difference from the standard kit. I added an extra 300g of sugar and replaced the yeast with safale. I have another kit on to which i added a jar of honey so will let you know how it turns out.
 
Probably a better thing to do :D

Mine got stuck at 1018 degrees, & just couldn't shift it, even after another week of fermenting near the fire. (I've heard Wherry's notorious for sticking). Still a cracking pint from the keg though, you wouldn't complain if you got that in a pub. :drink:
