Has anyone ever done a single hop brew with Nelson Sauvin??
How did it turn out?
I like the finish that the NS give a beer, but I have only ever had or made beers using it with a blend of other hops.

I'm thinking along the lines of pale malt with a touch of munich and some wheat malt.
OG 1050 - 1055.
10-15 IBU addition at the start of the boil, with another 30-35 IBU late additions and some steep hops.

Thoughts and comments welcome :D
 
Yes...came out pretty well, just have 1 bottle left :( I did get that winey quality that NS is meant to bring but it wasn't overpowering. The US-05 gave big attenuation, it came all the way down to 1002 and ended up at over 6% :thumb:

20g Nelson Sauvin (12.6% Alpha) @ 10 Minutes (Boil)
30g Nelson Sauvin (12.6% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (Aroma)
20g Nelson Sauvin (12.6% Alpha) @ 7 Days (Dry Hop)


Single step Infusion at 67°C for 90 Minutes. Boil for 90 Minutes

Fermented at 18°C with Safale US-05
