Need a new corker

Hi Guys.
I'm a regualr on jims but have come over here to get some help with my growing interest in wine/non-beer brews. I've been doing wine kits for a while and am up for a bit of experimenting. However, in the big rush to get everything ready for Xmas I've hit a snag.
I've been using this corker for a while:

and it's broke
The little plastic tube in the end that squeezes the cork has cracked meaning I can't get the corks right into the bottles. Can anyone recommend a descent replacement? Needs to be reasonably compact (I don't have space for a big bench/floor mounted one.)

Ive been using one of these for a while with no problems. There good for the price. Only paid a tenner for mine.

Yeh, that's the one I have, got it on ebay with a few other items very cheap. Always works well.
Try ebay, should get one cheap, though I don't imagine they cost all that much new.
Also, maybe the manufacturer could supply just a new sleeve?

No, the metal body and neck grippers are riveted around the plastic tube, I don't think it would be worth the hassle of filing/splitting the rivets, trying to repair the plastic insert and bolting it all back together again.

I also have one of those, also paid a tenner from my LHBS, and mine has also cracked but not in a way which prevents me from still using it, I just try to get Videne into the crack before and after use.

Some corks will never drive all the way home and need a bit of help with a hammer and a stick.

Mine is also cracked down the middle white sleeve.
I have been using mine like this for a very long time, it still works the same as when it didnt have a crack!
