National shortage of brown PET bottles (crown caps)?

Even though I bought some last week, this week I can't seem to find any anywhere...

This will seriously put a dent in my brewing capability... and before anyone tells me - as I live by myself, there is no point in kegging as i couldn't get through 40 pints before it went off :nono:

40 pints in a barrel should be good for months, maybe up to a year?

Don't know what it's like where you are, but over here i just get bottles from the pub.

It's difficult to get brown beer bottles here. In bars, most beer (pils) is on tap, with lots of imported beer in clear bottles (corona, etc)

Most individually bought bottles from the supermarket actually have a deposit on them, so friends don't end up with stashes either
