Has anyone had any experience of this regulator and the accompanying bulbs?

Was thinking of getting it to serve nitro stout/porters through a kegerator. Doesn't feel worth getting the full N2 set up for occasional beers that need it.
Presume you would get to the required level of carbonation in the beer using CO2 / priming sugar and then just use this for serving, set at a fairly high pressure?
