Hi all,
I decided to boost a Coopers Stout kit with some grains (below) and got an OG of 1.031: for me this seems a bit low for a 21litre batch considering it's got extra stuff in it, albeit roasted and specialty grains.
Extra grains:
100g Biscuit malt
200g Vienna malt
50g Roasted barley
200g Chocolate malt
200g flaked oats (pan toasted?)
Steeped grains in 10liters water for 20mins at 60'C then up to 68'C, held there for 20mins.
Thanks ladies and gents! :-)
