Hello i have fermented my home brew and am suppose to bottle it today but i have just tasted it and it taste sharp and tangy. Can it still be used or should i just dump it? Plz help im going away tonight lol

the sharp tangy taste is what I call the "not ready" taste, maybe you should leave it to rest for another while before you bottle it. I often leave the brew in the FV for 2 or 3 weeks as the instructions with the kits I brew are overly optimistic. Even if you do bottle it now itll be fine in a month or so. Happy drinking ! :drink:

FP's and Wendy's advice cannot be overstated, I also do the same - you will find this is common advice on here as you use the forum more etc

unfortunately, most of us are way too impatient  (me included)

I don't want to nit pick, and perhaps you have some experience under your belt....

But I would work on time-planning. I personally don't want to be in a position were I have to rush and maybe mess-up. So if I know I have to be away I either dont start a brew or time it such that it's more or less ready when I come back. Of course there may be occasions when you have to go away at hort notice, and with mot beers and wines a few extra days fermenting won't harm.
