Have a sink tucked in the corner. Grainfather is at my brew buddies house. we did a cloudy/juicy DIPA with vermont yeast yesterday. There is a sour in the white plastic fermenter. another 4 months to go with that.
all the best

That Cloudwater/Verdant/Lost and Grounded colab you've got in the fridge is a very nice drop. :drunk:

What's it similar too then Gus is it like a sweet or dry werry?
Hi
I don't know what would be similar. I have never tried a proper Russian river Pliny. My mate has when he was San Francisco. His was a lot lighter in colour , but he reckons taste wise I am pretty close. It's a lovely malt bill , heavily bittered with pine, resinous and tropical hop flavours shining through. The malt bill masks the over 100 IBU bitterness.
Maris otter
Dark crystal malt
Carapils
Dextrose
Columbus
Simcoe
Centennial
WLP001 California ale yeast
Double dry hopped

Great set-up! :thumb:

The only thing I would change is that I would install a Bubble Tube instead of the Air-lock.

The photo is of a wort that must have been on steroids! I'd already emptied the original 500ml bottle that had overflowed!
