i put my first stout on last night. a Edme irish stout.

i have gallons of best bitter, it's time to add a bit of variety to my stock.

Always nice to have a bit of variety.

I knocked up a stout a couple of weeks back to go along with some light hoppy beers and a Ruddles County clone I have kegged at the moment.

I get bored drinking the same stuff every night.

started off Coopers Brewmaster Irish Stout yesterday morning and OMG its fermenting - more volcanic than my WOW!

have had to change airlock over and wrap and old towel round the FV!!!

bubble rate is about 2-3 per second

and, it smells absolutely brill btw

Cant beat a good stout. The coopers is good but I've found the brewmaster velvet stout with 500g of extra dark spraymalt is amazing!! Got one brewing now. Six weeks till it's ready!! Can't wait!
