There was a product sheet with info before but I can't find it. It said that roasted barley was used to add colour to the extra dark spraymalt.

I was wondering about the light dme.
I think DME uses increasing quantities of dark malts (however small) for colour. I have even seen tiny particles of a dark malt in extra light DME. And the darker it is the less neutral the flavour, which is why I use light DME as a base for my partial mash beers, so that I can adjust other flavours with what I want.
