Just completed my third brew day last night. Figure I'd get some of the pics up here for everyone to see!

I don't have any pics of the sterilising portion of the night as the camera woman was eating dinner whilst I prepped everything :D

This is the kit I made.

Meanwhile, I'm rehydrating my yeast.

The sugar mixture is all weighed out and ready to add.

As you can see, I used 50/50 Brewing Sugar and Munton's Light Spraymalt. This is my first attempt with spray malt, so I'm hoping it will add more flavor.

Poured and stirred, almost ready!

OG reading came out as 1040

Seal her up!

I am pretty excited about this batch as it is the first time I'm using spraymalt. My previous two batches were lacking in the flavor department, so I'm hoping that the addition of the spraymalt will help with that for this batch.

I'll get some pics up throughout the process as I check the readings, etc.

The brew was bubbling away happily this morning and the yeasties seem pretty active. Now to get working on finishing up the Wheat Beer in my pressure barrel to make room in the next few days :)

PINK YEAST???

I tried that kit a while back, makes quite a nice pint, hope you enjoy it

LoL, I think the camera on my phone needs a good white balancing. The yeast looked normal and beige like when I pitched it! :D :D

Looking good! I like the clarity of your hydrometer. Would you mind saying who makes it and where it can be bought?

I'm at work at the moment, but I can check to see if there is a brand when I get home. The hydrometer came with a sample jar and they came in a polystyrene box with a computer printed label on it. I bought it at my local home brew store.

Good looking brewday :thumb:
The added spray malt will definitely add to the finished flavour :drink:

lol I was cleaning the dishes actually :p

also the make of the hydrometer is "Ritchie glass hydrometer and jar" not sure if it helps but thats all it says on the label :D

Many thanks, TC! I'll look it up on the web. :thumb:
