I'm interested in making a mulled cider for the festive season, but I have two questions:

1 - is there time?

2 - does anyone have a recipe for a demijohn's worth?

I did a TC then after it fermented I added 1 clove 1" of cinamon bark and 3 cardomen pods. Left them in for a week or so then bottled turned out ok.

Since making it I use the same spices with pork and cider to make a hearty pork and apple casserole. :thumb: :thumb:

If you have any cider just lying about, Morrison's have a spice kit for mulling cider. But there is just about time to make from scratch.

I have always mulled the cider at point of consumption , never heard of brewing it . I make a spiced cider-ish thing that I gently heat on the stove with various extras , but then again I use a plain one like that too . Just make some cider and then mull it when you want to drink it....the traditional way is to thrust a hot poker into each mug . Always results in woodash floaters when I try that  :(
