I brewed a basic bitter last sunday, the SG reads 1016, should get down to around 1010 so not quite finished yet but i need to move it the my 2nd FV so i can get another brew on and use that FV. ( The reason being is the 1st FV doesnt have a tap but the second one does)

Will i do the beer any harm moving it to early, or can i move it and if need be add the trub at the bottom?

just don't splash it, syphon to the bottom of the secondary leave the trub behind, do not disturb it.

should be fine.

I try and work it so my primary fermentors don't have taps fitted ( nothing for yeast to fall out and collect on,) I then syphon direct to 2nd vessel which has a tap fitted for bottling.
