My motherboard only died 2 days ago and it seems a replacement cannot be got unless i buy a second hand one off ebay in America, i don't really want to explore this option because there's no way to know how kind the previous owner was to it. I've been searching all day and i think this motherboard will work but i'm not very good with this kinda stuff and i've no idea if i'll need to fit new RAM as well so if somebody could help me it would be great
Here's the details of what's in my pc at present

CPU Intel Pentium D 940 processor (3.2 GHz)
Motherboard Asus P5ND2-SLI
Memory 2GB DDR2 PC2-4200 (2x 1024 MB)
Hard Drive 400GB SATA II
Video Card nVidia GeForce 6600 (256MB) PCI-Express
nVidia GeForce 6600 (256MB) PCI-Express
Sound Card Realtek AC'97 audio

hi, have looked at specs, and it will work out ok, you'll be able to use you existing 2gig rams as well, all the other stuiff you have you'll just have to fit, and install drivers etc, by the way have a look at the link below, its for maplins, and i believe theydo some real good deals around!, i use them all the time now!!

Just one more question
On the link i posted it says
Supported RAM Speed
PC2-4300
PC2-5300
PC2-6400
Mine is PC2-4200
Will this RAM still work :?:

as for your ram, no, it wont work, its like my ram, its go to be 667 ddr2 only!
Have a look for a board that will make use of the ram you already have, are you using your pc for browsing only?
Its down to the speed of the ram, yours is 533mhz.

This board will support your ram mate, scheap as well, but depends what ya use ya pc for!
