"Brewed especially for spring this beer combines spices, sultana flavours and hops to create a delightful ale with a hint of hot cross buns"

Thats the marketing bumph over with now for the review, No photo sorry am feeling lazy.

This is a highly polished deep copper brew, It poured with a nice head which soon dissipated to a thin lace that stayed all the way to the bottom, at first I got hot cross buns on the nose but towards the end it turned into irnbru and that I can't get away from, initial taste and sultanas dominate with some citrus, I thought mmmm an interesting brew I wonder how they make this taste like this, 3/4 of the way down and it hit me this is alcoholic IRNBRU, and at 4.5% not bad, if you like grapefruity and sultana beers then this may be up your street, & I would say worth a try even if its just to experience the wierdness, as to drinking a lot of it no I wouldn't.

You've missed the important bit, how much are they selling it for?

 I like Irn Bru. :thumb:
I like alcoholic Irn Bru, I often use it as a mixer with cheap blended Scotch. :drunk:
It contains sorbate so would still need boiling etc. :hmm:
I wonder if I could ferment it?

Cant remember to be honest I just picked it up.

However I have just rifled through my pockets for the receipt, and it is at the very affordable price of £1.25 per bottle 500ml.
