Sorry for repost thought I'd double posted but was wrong!!!
Used a recipe for Morland Best from 'Brewing beers like those you buy' yesterday but tinkered a bit, it has been renamed by Niamh (aged 8) "squeaky mouse"
Grain bill:
Maris Otter PM 4.5kg
Pale Crystal Malt 125g
Golden Syrup (maple flavour) 454g added to boil
Hops:
60 minutes
Fuggles 15g
EKG 60g
Brambling Cross 15g
End of boil
EKG 15g
In FV
EKG 10g
I got 23 litres at 1.053 and pitched some recycled windsor yeast in last night. Looks nice right now, looking forward to posting a progess report in a few weeks.
