Hi all,

What with the old money being tight as anything and the offer in cans being frankly disappointing, my mind has turned to home brewing.

I'm no newcomer to the subject of brewing, I spent 3 years at Liverpool uni studying microbial biotechnology, of which one of the components was brewing. I've also ran a pub in Southport, running 2 - 3 real ales at once. I am however a complete novice when it comes to homebrew, so have joined this site to see what advice is out there!

Look forward to joining in with the banter and hopefully gain some advice on what gear I need to get myself started and then onwards and upwards!!

Cheers

Andy

Welcome to the forum. As you can see - there is a wealth of resources and information to get you started but if in doubt just ask away.

Thanks all for the warm welcome :thumb:

Now to delve into the other boards and see what's about. Calumscott's post about The Tiny Kitchen Brewer has been printed off and will be used as my reference manual. If that's the standard on here, this site is going to be pure gold!

Cheers
