Today i caught my first ever Marlin
It weighed 87.6Kg and left me completely exhausted-i mean absolutely shattered. My friend Ali caught a 115.4kg Striped Marlin. On his first attempt at Game fishing.

It tastes like no other fish really, it's kinda got a pork flavour and is really meaty.

The chair mate. Boat's not set up for a stand up fight-nor am i

I only catch fish that I can eat, if I'm up to my quota for salmon I go home and if I catch small trout they go back, the fish Meb cought is a keeper, they manage their fishery, the rest of the world just rapes the **** out of the available resources. If the rest of us had as much respect for our enviornment we'd be better off. It's only last year where drift netting for salmon was made ilegal in Ireland, they were trying to say the damage was bieng done by line fishermen in the rivers :wha: if I cought 3 salmon in a year I'd be delighted.
