My ladyfriend decided to buy me a coopers candian blonde kit when she went to pick up some other stuff from the homebrew shop, have any of you guys ever tweaked this kit before? I'm thinking of bringing the kit and 15 litres of water to boil and adding 15 grams saaz for 10 mins then 15 grams at end of boil then brewing at full length which I'm guessing is 23 litres.

From what I've read this kit is lacking in the hop department and I'm never going to brew a true lager at 17 degrees.

Available ingredients-

Hops-
Saaz
Fuggle
Aurora (super styrian)
Challenger

Malt-
Chocolate
Biscuit
Crystal

I've not got any yeast apart from the kit yeast, maybe I could brew some kind of hybrid beer by dropping in some malt and I'm willing to buy some better yeast but as I said before I lack a brew fridge so I'm stuck at 17-22 degrees.

Any ideas guys?

That kit comes with a lager yeast but i brewed at about 18-20 and it was fine, you could do a mini mash instead of adding bke or spraymalt and then do a hop boil, or just steep a little cystal malt and then boil with some saaz.
