Mix two kits

Hi guys, I have these two kits and it doesn’t really appeal to me to brew separately with additives, would anyone mix these together, I only have the yeast that comes with these and 50g of Cashmere hops in the freezer.
I could order yeast from Crossmyloof I guess.
Both kits are 1.8kg, do you guys think 23l and a dryhop would work?

Pictures not the best, one in the left is a Mexican lager with Tequila and Lime flavour (which I’m not too fussed about)
I’m happy if the Cashmere hops overtake this

When I had the idea of mixing two kits I was advised not to as it will double the bitterness and end up nothing like the intended style.
I didn't end up doing it so I can't advise if it was good or not.

I'd probably make some cheap and cheerful rather than mixing them together.
Throw in a bag of granulated sugar with each and not worry too much about it, keep your hops in the freezer for something you care more about.

You could even double stack them, when you're done with one in the FV throw the other straight on top of the yeast cake to re-use the yeast (be careful not to put too hot or too cold water directly onto the yeast though).

If you mean to use both kits in a 23ltr brew together it will be have the hoppage of 2 kits which normally would be too much but as they are both lagers kits I think(hard to tell from pics) they generally are not he most hopped of kits so you may get away with it and hopefully the Cashmere hops may be strong enough to have a impact on the brew

Sorry when I said hoppage I also meant it will have the extra IBU's too not just the hop taste

Thanks guys, I like hoppy beer so that’s not a problem, I’m not sure about bitterness, maybe make it to 25l?

Yeah both lager, it’s been a long while since I done a kit now but thought I could get a better beer using this liquid malt extract rather than adding dextrose or buying spray malt

Make up two separate brews with 500g sugar to about 15/16 litres.
Should give beers in mid 1.040s OG.
Lagers will stand a bit of dryness from just using sugar.
And in my view if you add extra LME you run the risk of introducing twang.

Sounds like a plan, I have had good results from Brewferm beers and they are only around 12 litres for a 1.2kg can I think, I was calling my Simply beer kit the lme, even though it is prehopped

I assumed kits were about 1.8kg LME so you may need to adjust final volume down if they are less or brew a lower gravity beer. I use the BF calculator.

No your right with these kits, both 1.8.
I popped into my local health store for some spraymalt but couldn’t resist the Simply kit for £10
