morning lads, brew day is here. the wife says ive got to use all my grain up before i order more so todays one gallon biab will consist of:

250 grams lager malt
150 grams of vienna malt
135 munich malt
250 grams carahell malt

not decided on hops but have a choice of saaz, tettang, or hallertau hersbruker

any thoughts on what this grain bill will produce would be most welcome, cheers guys

Maybe a German sort of style. Would you necessarily use all the Cara hell malt? Looks a bit "top heavy" at first sight.

dont have to, could cut it down a bit, was just to finish it all in one go. wha do you mean by top heavy slid ?

Sorry for the late response, I thought that this would leave a lot of non-fermentable sugars in the end product, making it a bit of a heavy feeling beer.

What did you end up doing, and how did it go?

Hi pal, I cut the cars hell down to 100 grams an kept the rest for later. It's fermenting away nicely in the cellar at work for just over a week now at 11oc. Gonna leave it for three weeks in primary then bottle
