p**sed off !! jus walked into my kitchen after working today and found about 10 pints of my ag american style ipa all over the floor aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! it was priming, my mini keg has bust, i always keg half and bottle half best of both worlds lol!! so had to emergancy bottle the rest of what was left 10 bottlles worth! was running round like a blue arsed fly,had to sanitise 10 bottles, luckly i have plenty pphheww!! when looked the actual plastic had split at the bottom!! my freind also had a leak on his first time he used his,so this is now in the bin, thought id jus share this with you all lol!!

had 20 pints in keg and primed with 50g white sugar,i have done this twice before in this keg and had no probs,in fact was really impressed with it until now,oh well looks like am bottling from now on unless i treat my self to a cornie??

Should I put this down to the fact that its a strong beer and that its not conditioned yet
General rule of thumb, 1 week conditioning for every 10 gravity points, so 1.072 = at least 6 weeks. Any harsh tastes will mellow over this period, however it's a good idea to keep trying it over this period until it tastes right FOR YOU, after all, it's brewed by you, for you

mmmhhh!!! corny it is then i shall start looking and make the leap, any one got one for sale or any ideas??? thanks

It can cost to start up, but its worth it.. if your ever in doubt go clean 50 bottles for every brew then decide again.....

thanks vossy will check that out,and darcy yeah i know what you mean cleaning 40 to 50 bottles is so soul distroying lol!! :thumb:
