Hi Guys

im ordering three IPA kits from homebrew online to get the free delivery. Im certain on two (the razorback and youngs IPA's), but im bit uncertain with the milestone and st peters.

the description doesnt mention any hops come with the milestone, and a sachet comes with st peters, im assuming this is powder?

Can anyone advise me on these two and if they come with any additional hops like the two above and which one is more favourable.

It may come down to me ordering another young's as i cant see a bad word about it!

Cheers:thumb:

Cheers mate, from what i see the st peters has the edge, just enquired on the hop sachet, which im guessing is powder, could dry hop some extra if this is the case.
:-?

Been reading this thread on BrewUK forum and the St Peters one seems better than the milestone one

Looking at our review @covrich made this kit and didn't think it was much like an IPA either. So perhaps go for the st peters one, especially as it has a hop sachet (I'm guessing it will be ground up hop pellets)

Milestone IPA was my first ever home brew, now as a newbie I no doubt made a few mistakes which probably contributed, but it was pretty bad and had a real full on twang, the only beer I have been tempted to throw away, it could have easily put me off brewing again that.. Like I say I made mistakes which would have exacerbated it but I seen other people were equally unimpressed with it though.. I know it isn't the same but I followed up with a ST peters Ruby Red and it was nice far beyond the Milestone IPA kit, my faith was restored.

If you want an IPA don't go for Milestone anyway , it is nothing like an IPA.

Thanks bud

MyQul was good enough to send me reviews and like you state milestone doesnt sound like an IPA, ive decided to order from biggerjugs, just the razorback and young's as it was only another 50p in delivery. job done.

Cheers
