Hey guys,
First ginger beer brew went reasonably well.
2 demijohns worth (4 litres in total I'd guess)
500g ginger
3 lemons
1 lime
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp yeast nutrient per demijohn
Gervin GV3 sparkling wine yeast
12.5g dextrose per litre to carbonate up to 4 Co2 volumes per litre.
Came out at 7.84% in the end if I remember rightly, tasted good as well. Going to fiddle the recipe and try adding malt extract next time.
I'm pretty much new to making videos but I put a couple together because I had a couple of mates interested I said I'd film it, first one was a bit hit and miss, second one I sort of got into the swing of video making and worked out how to use my editing suite properly. Lives and learns, hopefully they get better in the future.
Don't know how interested you are in it but I've got a couple of videos up on. Excuse the messy kitchen, my housemates are slobs
