I have done a search and although there is lost of talk of people using measuring stick i couldn't see any numbers.

Save me having to work it all out does anyone know the figures for a 50L stock pot 40cmx40cm?

I was thinking of just halving the hight and marking that as 25L and then halving each of those points to get more gradients :thumb:

I await your derision

Put 5l in then mark your stick.

The pot will not be completely cylindrical so you need to put another 5 l in and mark the stick again.

The distance between the 2 marks represent 5l so you can just measure that distance all the way up marking off 5 l intervals.

Be aware that most measuring jugs are pretty inaccurate. Mine certainly are. If you have them, use digital scales to weigh the water. 1L = 1kg
