Folks
I've hopefully secured a maxi single line beer chiller that i want to use as a glycol chiller for cold crash and maintain fermentation temp.
I'm not familiar with the maxi set up but understand they have an internal pump to agitate the glycol around the chiller and then I would need a separate pump to push a liquid through the pipes through the cold liquid and the back out to the fermenter coil.
Is this correct. I use a kegland temperature controller so I have temperature control, just wondered the best way to plumb it,
Or could I stick an aquarium pump in the glycol bath and have that pump controlled by the rapt controller?
Thanks.
