How do I rig up my Maxi 310 so that I can chill my fermenting wort.

This is what it has on the back.

Is it a case of fixing a hose and some sort of chiller coil onto those two stainless steel pipes?

I know I have to fill the reservoir up until it water comes out overflow pipe, but do I have to prime the chiller coil and hose with water?

I plan on connecting this up to the coiling circuit of my temp controller so the cupboard can be heated and cooled to maintain temps.

Any help much appreciated.

cheers

The 2 pipes with the loop on usually have an internal pump which connects to a Python setup, basically a send and return of very cold fluid in a circle. The outside 2 are product send and return which requires an external pump to circulate your beer line through the cooler. Hope that helps you, I have the Maxi 210 2 x product and 1 x Recirculating, so same as yours but 1 extra beer line.

Ah so its the ones in the loop which I need. Cheers that is great. All I need is a bit of pipe from vossy and a copper coil.

Cheers.

The stainless pipes are geared up to connect with 3/8 John Guest fittings to beer line... I think you can get a 1/2inch barb that plugs into 3/8 john guest then onto your stainless tubes on the re-circ circuit.
