hi guys, new to all grain (well biab) and ive knocked up a couple of light lagers so far. ive followed recipes for the first two but im wondering how you go about matching grains up. im a lager drinker but was wondering what would happen if i used lager malt and say munich malt together ? looking to try and make intresting flavour combinations but still esientially lagers. anyone have any tips ? i have some munich, carahell, carapils, pilsner, vienna and lager malt to play with. also some saaz, hallertauer, northern brewer and tettnang hops. cheers guys

You can use all those ingredients to make lagers. Adding some Munich or Vienna will make the lager richer, more malty. Carapils increases the body, carahell adds sweetness. The hops are all good for lagers. Google 'lager recipes' and you will find ways to use them all. Researching recipes is the way to find out how to use different ingredients.
