i have my cool box, copper pipe, elbows and tees, i also have a ball valve lever tap -

after i make the hole in the box how do i fix the tap - do i need a compression coupler or something?

a picture or point in the right direction would be great :thumb:

you need a tank connector/coupler

this one is from screw fix, bnq sell them too

for best results file out the inside so the pipe can pass all the way through, it's a pain but makes life easier.

then thread the manifold through the coupler and compression fit on the outside then connect the tap to the copper sticking out the coupler.

hope that makes sense

thanks alot - that makes perfect sense!

cheers for the pic to! - am building today - was hoping to be brewing tommorrow but when i was picking up my other copper bits the postman came with my big parcel off hops etc from barley bottom - and i can`t pick them up till monday!!!!!!!!! :(

i thought about it even though the card said 24hours! - however the missus is at work and our little boy is half way through a nap - so no hops till monday! at least i won`t rush the tun and i`ll have all week to plan my brew!!!
:D
