Been meaning to do one of these for a while, I was up early this morning so I finally got into it. Etching is in memory of my late uncle.

I suppose I could do mate; same design? Made from oak so it's a more expensive timber than some people use but it'll last a lifetime.

Thanks for the comments, came out quite well, took about 2.5 hours to make, including a trip to wicked for the oil!

It looks great! it would annoy the wife to no end :rofl: coming to think of it it would serve many purposes :thumb: like a bot spank bat, and a anti burglar device im sure theres more purposes it could serve, all jokes put to the side i love it :-D

Nice one everyone, pleased how it came out. Needs one more coat of oil tomorrow and then it's good to go, I'll be doing the first brew with it at the weekend for the Xmas brew.
