Hi I haven't done the MJ kit but done on the rocks and youngs strawberry and mango cider both finished fermenting in a week batch primed with 100g brewing sugar and warm condition for a week clear as a bell and nicely carbed. Very nice.
Yes I always batch prime i find it easier dissolve 100g sugar or brewing sugar in 200ml of boiled and cooled water and put in my bottling bucket before syphoning cider in then give a gentle stir before bottling.
