Done a few kits now, so fancy moving onto a malt extract brew (and want something good to put in my lastest purchase; a corny)! :D

Anybody got any suggstions for a good extract recipe to start with :?:

Yup :thumb:
What do you want :wha:
Pale ale, bitter, mild, stout, porter, lager, wheat beer ?

Sorry, should have been more specific! I haven't got anywhere cold enough to do a lager this time of year, so that's out. Apart from that, anything goes; Pale ale, bitter or stout (i have an eclectic taste in beer, although not particularly keen on wheat beers) that comes out somewhere between 4% and 5% ABV.

How about a traditional bitter using Goldings ?
23L OG 1.044 28 IBU 4.2 % abv

2.8kg light spray malt or 3kg light liquid malt extract
250g crystal malt
60g of black malt

70g Goldings 4% aa 60 minute boil
15g Goldings last 15 minutes boil
15g Goldings hot soak at 80C
