Malicious Email

Hi All,

This has just come through from the police.

To all staff

We have had notice from Cumbria Police of malicious emails being seen in Cumbria.

The e-mails are being sent with subject headings about the Boston Marathon bombing, typically entitled "Explosion at Boston Marathon."

There is a link in the email that leads to a page of videos; 60 seconds later a Windows Trojan ‘Tepfer’ tries to install itself in the background.

Please delete this email if it is received and do not open the link.
