I'm taking up Bru's Reviews on this little lot, Theres more than in the pic though :thumb:



So Tonight I started with



It's not bottle conditioned And there was No head not even from a great height. Little carbonation not enough in my eyes. And the Taste was pleasant but nothing to shout about hints of the dandelion but thats about it. :cry:

London Stout next on the cards

To much carbnotaion for a stout and heavy roast smells on the nose and only very faint chocolate of coffee smells.
No much body in this at all, Heavy on the roasts with not much else coming through, again heavy on the carbonation makes it like drinking soda. A tint of smokiness on the aftertaste. A nice stout to any one that drinks them, But lacking body and some balance of hops to malts.

I'm not a big fan of any of the Meantime brews, which is a real shame as I like to support smaller breweries.

I see you have a Breakspear Triple there - I love them .. could live on them. I've found though, that if you plan to have a few beers of an evening (like you do), it has to be drunk first

Sorry for the delay work got in the way!
Last nights ales were

Bath Ales, Barnstormer

Opened with a nice hiss. A fruity smell on the nose, Tastes wonderful, A dark bitter with a nice balance of malts, getting hints of chocolate but a nice roll of roasts in my mouth. Sweet too. They Must know my tastes as this hit's every taste bud for me!

Davenports, Fox's Nob

Not much of a hiss on opening and not alot of carbonation. Not much of a smell of hops perhaps something grassy like sazz but no where near enough. A copper coloured ale, with biscuity malts and not much body. A long dry hoppy aftertaste, But a run of the mill beer for me nothing much to stand out.
