I'm going to brew a partial extract porter at the weekend. I normally do this in a big pan on the hob, but I have a new boil pot with an element in it. I'm slightly concerned that when I add the lme it'll stick to the element. Also the element will make stirring it in a bit tricky. Should I maybe mix the lme with hot water first then add it to the mix.
