My work has replaced its water boilers so i have liberated the leftover plastic piping and plastic taps and push fittings that connected the old boilers (i say old - about 2 years old) to the water supply so i am wondering what i can do with these - could i use them as a chiller or pumping hoses or just for siphoning - or any other suggestion.
Being plastic i can't imagine that it will withstand much heat.
The pipes are lldpe blue plastic about with 3/5" max 250psi at 70f 120 psi at 150f written on it thickness 9mm with 6mm bore.
I did a bit of googling to see what temperatures lldpe would go up to and it said over 150 degrees C but i don't know what grade or type of lldpe this was, but if that was the case could i use it for pumpin or a chiller?
Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks
