Hi Folks

Advice needed on watering down my ginger beer before bottling.

Basically I chucked loads of sugary stuff in the boil - lime marmalade, orange marmalade and some brewing sugar, plus lots of ginger and some chilli.

OG was 1.070 (!!!) and FG 1.002, so we are looking at something around 9% abv. I am thinking of diluting by 50% or event more before bottling with 5g sugar as normal.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Steve

Using the dilution calculator on the forum will give you an idea of what you need as you haven't told us your quantity in litres..

Yes input your OG then your desired gravity which I'm assuming is 1.037 which will give you around 4.6% as can be seen in the picture below.
