I can remember several years ago the author Graham Wheeler going through that list in some detail and came to the conclusion most are wrong. He did a lot of research of his own and worked with a lot of the brewery's named.
Some seem to be derived from a particular brewery but have maybe changed a bit or they're one of a multi strain culture. The saison yeasts are meant to be like that.
Possibly. The first bottle culture I did was from a bottle of brakspear triple. From the researches I did at the time they're similar but probably not exactly the same
According to the chart wyeast London 3 is Boddingtons, according to wyeast website it originates from a traditional London brewery. https://www.wyeastlab.com/yeast-strain/london-ale-iii Can't see why they would want to deceive especially in a county that love litigation.
