What is the absolute minimum amount of time allowed between bottling one's first AG and cracking the first bottle...?

Normally for a kit I say two weeks but those 39 bottles are different. I know they look the same but they're not are they? They're different....

Are they? Not an expert on kit brewing, but once it's in the bottle... it's all the same, right? Right?

If you are anything like me, with next to no patience, it's a very short period of time :D Cracked open my first bottle of AG#1 yesterday, after 1 week in bottle. Still too much sugar left, so another week somewhere warm is called for. But it was still bloody fantastic!

My brew buddy, who has a stash of the same bottles, is already half-way through them and doing comparitive tastings against commercial brews...

Some will tut and say the bottles are well too young (and I'm sure they are right), but perhaps they have forgotten the excitement of their first brew...

Well this is it...

...it's my 27th!!!! Ive been brewing a year and a bit!!!

It's just that this is the first AG...

...and I know how good it tasted out of the FV!!!

You've got 39 bottles, what are you saving them for? Your old age??? :D

Christ, it's your birthday, have a couple. As I said, aside from a little residual sugar, mine were super after a week (and hopefully will keep getting better)

Holy fecking moly!!!!!

It's utterly sensational. I'm just a little gobsmacked...

...these ain't gonna last long! Good job I'm brewing again this weekend!

I've just been supping a couple of better brew bitters before this. Admittedly it's not their best but the difference is...

...well, clear country mile comes about close.
