So, I'm new to this forum and new to brewing having been given some kit for my birthday this month.
I've have a St Peters IPA going nicely and already planning the next one. I thought that would be it but the bug bit and I'm already looking for where I can make more space for more FV's so I can have 2 on the go at once, spending more time on the internet researching what to do and how I can fiddle with kits, I can see this moving from hobby to obsession in no time at all. I know brewing takes time, patience and dedication to get it right but there are times when stuff is happening and you can't fiddle any more.
And that got me thinking.
What else does everyone do when they aren't making beer and wine? Not work but other hobbies and past times, how do you fill your time.
I have an allotment, I collect vinyl records, mainly 70's and 80's stuff and love rugby although no longer as a player I'm afraid. Can I manage these as well or will I gradually find myself giving everything up for brewing.
So, how about you? This question is partly to get to know the forum members better and get involved with the community but also because I'm a bit nosy.
