Well I did my first kit st peters ruby red and it turned out very drinkable.
Decided to go for a mild this time , Geordie mild was gifted to me a while back so I used that as the base , used some crushed chocolate malt 250g in water 65/70 °c for 30 mins then sparged , then mixed sugar in half brewing sugar half dark spray malt.
As the yeast pack was damaged in kit I used white labs WLP004 , stout yeast not sure how it's going to turn out lol but as they say half the fun is in experimenting
