its in the fermentation bucket, just harvested the local wild hops to make a local Saison brew, very simple recipe,
5kg marris otter pale
500 grms green local hops
30ltr water
2 pks 11grms saison yeast
usual 90 mins saccharification for grain, @64c
Mash Out raise to 75c over 10mins
removed grain,
60 min boil
hops in for last 20 mins
left to cool to 24c overnight, Sg came out at 1.044 slighly below target but never mind, added yeast, fermentation started with movement in the lock after 4 hrs
will leave until fully fermented and then keg - if it turns out as good as last years won't last too long :-)
